The Lower Fifth Coffee House

My visits have unfortunately been marred by the demeanor of the staff, who often come across as quite unwelcoming, even outright rude. I was particularly taken aback when a male employee, without so much as an 'excuse me,' pushed my friend aside to get past her as she stood there. While I can commend the quality of the coffee, these unpleasant encounters mean I simply won't be returning.

My experience was absolutely perfect, from the delightful home-cooked food to the incredibly delicious coffees, especially the standout pistachio latte. The impeccable service truly completed what was an entirely flawless visit.

I was pleased to discover the generous amount of seating available, making it easy to find a comfortable spot. The menu truly stands out with its extensive selection of both coffee and tea, offering something for everyone. It's an excellent choice for anyone wanting to relax and unwind for a good hour or two.

The coffee I had was excellent, and I found the pricing to be quite fair, especially for a London establishment. The entire team was delightful, and the reliable WiFi proved perfect for managing a work call while simultaneously presenting.

I was so impressed with the delightful range of fun drinks on offer, and it's brilliant to find such a generous selection of vegan options available. The staff were truly lovely, making the whole experience even better, and I can honestly say their banana bread is among the absolute best I’ve ever tasted.

My visits here usually feature truly excellent coffee and delightful pastries. However, on my most recent morning stop, I was a little disappointed to find that the croissant served was somewhat stale.

My experiences here have consistently been marred by incredibly rude staff. Just yesterday, a male member of the team quite literally barged into me without any attempt to excuse himself or offer an apology afterward. This isn't an isolated incident, as I've observed on numerous occasions that the staff behind the counter are, at best, discourteous and seem to make no effort whatsoever to engage positively with customers. It's truly disappointing, and I absolutely do not recommend visiting.

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food on offer, and the coffee house itself is situated in a truly fantastic location. The overall experience was made even more pleasant by the genuinely lovely people who run the establishment.

I found the coffee here to be unparalleled in the vicinity, served within such a delightful, cozy space. What truly impressed me was the chai custard tart; its delicate, crispy pastry and nuanced spicing made it an absolute joy to experience. On top of that, the service provided was exceptional.
